A goodbye and a couple of hello's!

Today we said Goodbye to Henry rabbit who we always miss when he goes back home. We have a couple of new visitors though...

This handsome rat is called 'monkey' and he is an old chap who enjoys a quiet life and comes out for some fuss each day.

This beautiful girl is Sydney who is a 6 month old German short Haired Pointer. I have the pleasure of walking her each day but she is staying with us for the next week and a bit whilst her owners enjoy a holiday. She is such a love and enjoys all the animal visitors in the house!

Dogs Aswell!

As well as the smaller furries here at the petsitters we also look after dogs whilst their owners enjoy a holiday. Currently we have 2 lovely host families that take in your pooch and only one families dog stays at any one time.
Denise is currently looking after Alfie and Millie - 2 lovely terriers who apparently are very cuddly and snuggle up on the sofa after a day of mischief.
Kate is currently looking after Blue, a weimeraner who is a big softy and full of fun.

My family will be enjoying the company of Sydney, a beautiful german short haired pointer who is only a puppy and very full of energy. I will post some picks when she arrives!

There are also lots of cat visits coming up as the holiday season kicks in so we will be very busy making sure all your animals are enjoying their break as much as you do!

Lots and lots of guests staying!

JoJo and Sam are at the top and regular visitors to us here at SnugBugs. They have a lovely chalet with attached run and always make themselves at home.
Rosie is a real cuddly bun and loves shredding newspaper, she loves her oats in a morning and has been enjoying some lovely sun in her daily exercise run.

Fudge and Squeak are big buddies and live as very spoilt and loved house guinea pigs. They are regular visitors and a real delight to have in. Squeak lives up to her name as soon as the veggy time comes round and protests very excitedly until she and Fudge get their bowlful!

One of our smaller guests is Moshi the hamster who is a very friendly little thing and very active!
The more camera shy guests include Poppy, pepper and Primrose - 3 lovely guineas, Spike a very handsome lop eared bun, Charlie and George a couple of cheeky rabbits and Lional and Norton - 2 rats that have been staying with us for 2 months now and are really fun little guys.

Henry rabbit

Henry Rabbit has been to stay with us a few times now and we just love having him. He is a giant rabbit and lives in the house so we give him lots of space and plenty of fuss as he just is so lovely! He has been lounging in the sun on these hot days sprawled on the patio. He always hops over to say hello when approached and loves plenty of cuddles and fuss. He has been staying for a week so sadly goes home tomorrow and we always miss him.

Freddie the Meyer!

Meet Freddie! He is a gorgeous Meyer's Parrot and very very sweet. He just loves coming out each evening and sitting watching the tv on the nearest shoulder. He is a real character and will be with us for a few more days yet.

A walk in the park...

We have been enjoying the lovely weather and getting to know our new friend, Sydney. She is a German short haired pointer and still only a pup. We have the pleasure of her company each day for a nice walk and play session and she has made firm friends with Stan and Wilf. The 3 of them get so excited when they meet each day and can't wait to go exploring together.

Sydney loves playing fetch!

The chase is on and wilfey really tries hard to keep up but is out of puff before he realises!

Naughty Budgies!

We also currently have 2 very cheeky budgies keeping us entertained along with their cockatiel friend. Yoshi and Luigi are only 1 and full of fun. They share a cage and are out each evening flying around our lounge and getting more and more adventurous the longer they are here. Dudley the cockatiel is 15 and likes her own space with her own cage. She does come out at the same time as the terrible two and enjoys sitting on her play perch looking out the window. Not sure she appreciates the budgie boys antics all the time but judging by the noise they are all enjoying themselves!Dudley enjoying her space
Yoshi and Luigi getting in on the action!

Bailey Bun

We have gorgeous Bailey staying with us at the moment and he is a real sweetie. He loves lots of fuss and is enjoying the sunshine we have been having at the moment. He is going home tomorrow so we will miss him.

Meet the gang!

Before showing you some of the lovely animals we look after I thought I would introduce the furry bunch in our family. First lets introduce Billy the bop aka 'Big Bill'... He is a British Giant Rabbit just a year old and runs the house with an iron paw! His hobbies include lounging under the dining table, eating the flowers and mowing the lawn. He occasionally likes to do some garden design and add a new hole here and there.

Next lets introduce Stan the man. A sensitive fun loving border terrier with not a bad bone in his body. He's getting on now at 11 years and lets the younger ones make all the mischief. Food and walks are his main love as well as lots of cuddles.

Div
Finally lets introduce the newest member 'The Pugster' aka 'Wilf'. He is currently 4 months old and full of mischief. His hobbies include sticking his nose in everything, chewing slippers and chasing Big Bill (but he does get told off for this). He loves all the animals staying with us and going out on all the lovely walks and is generally a happy ball of fur!

Very Busy

We have been very busy taking on new hosts, boarding small furries, visiting cats and walking dogs so have not had chance to post. I will get some photos up shortly so you can see the wonderful pets we have been lucky enough to look after.
